Geneva is located at the northern tip of Seneca Lake, the deepest and largest of the Finger Lakes in water volume. Geneva bills itself as the "Lake Trout Capital of the World", and a Lake Trout Derby is held once a year. It is also home to Hobart & William Smith Colleges and is proud of its ethnic diversity.
